Amanina is a matchmaking platform where compatibility grows into marriage, and marriage into family — born of a world rich in cultural and religious diversity. Everyone who takes marriage seriously is welcome, whatever their background or origins: each member's faith is kept as they hold it, and the family bonds they cherish are honoured. Instead of endless swiping, members receive a few considered introductions at a time, each with the reasoning shown openly, so they are met as whole people, on the terms they set. Family, elders and the wali among them, can be welcomed into the process at the member's pace and with their consent. Every member is verified as a real person, as a baseline rather than a premium feature. Amanina is available on the web, worldwide. It is operated by Mama Hala Consulting Group in Ottawa, Canada, founded by Hala Ali, a Family Consultant, and built by EiGENRA. Amanina launched in 2026.

How to refer to us
Five small things that save a correction later.
- Amanina — one word, one capital. The wordmark is set in capitals; the name in prose is not.
- Our founder is Hala Ali, a Family Consultant: please give her full name and title on first reference. “Mama Hala” is the name families know her by and the name her practice carries, so it is right after that, or in a family's own words. Her title is Family Consultant, as written. In Canada “Dr.”, “licensed”, “clinical” and “therapist” are regulated titles belonging to a different profession, so any of them would misdescribe her work rather than do it justice.
- Matrimony or matchmaking, not dating. Amanina makes introductions; it does not deal cards, and there is nothing to swipe.
- We don't publish member counts, match counts or success rates today — the community is young, and a number would be read as a promise. If you need a figure, ask us rather than citing one from elsewhere: anything we haven't confirmed isn't ours.
- Heritage is something a member states for themselves. It is never a filter, never a requirement, and it never lowers anyone's standing.
Founder
Hala Ali is a Family Consultant and the founder of Mama Hala Consulting Group; the families she works with know her as Mama Hala. The Marriage Compass and the 30-Day Sprint — the reflection that turns matching on, and the month two people spend coming to know one another — are her questions, built on her family-counselling framework rather than a growth team's.
Behind the app
Amanina is designed, engineered and maintained by EiGENRA, the product-engineering studio that also built Mama Hala Consulting Group's own platform. It built Amanina on the family-counselling framework Hala Ali authored, so her questions arrive intact in English, Arabic and French.
